Pastor Stephen Cheung completes the 2017 Advent series with reference to the Gospel of John, where, in the first chapter, is presented a sacred and spiritual vision of reality. Verse 4 states, “In Him was life, and that life was the light of men”, in essence, the grounding of all humanity. In an environment where our identities are so often anchored in ways that are narrow and unhelpful, what would it mean if the core of our beings were to be rooted in the living God, who made us, and came to rescue us?
